Tim's annual Firework bash

It's that time of year again - dark evenings, mulled wine, warming bonfires with effigies of common heroes like Russell Brand, and the smell of gunpowder blowing in the air.... it has to be Guy Fawkes night!

We headed to Tim and Maddys for the annual get together with the remains of the Maidenhead gang and those who have been adopted into the select few. Following the fireworks the photo shows the chinese wish lanterns that were launched just upwind of Gatwick airport.... oops... off they sailed higher and higher, until they blended in with the clouds and the approaching landing lights. As usual wonderful fireworks and company into the wee small hours.

The following morning appeared through last nights haze where Boo was masterfully producing a full english breakfast for the 14 hungry buds crammed round the hall table. This breakfast had to be walked off, so where else should one head for midday on a Sunday but the pub! Bloody Marys, pints of Guiness and loads of very soggy dogs, everyone starting to feel so much better.

From the wilds of Tunbridge Wells we ventured to the heart of Sussex to see mother, John and yet more dogs. Would Lewis Hamilton win the World Title??? YES YES YES!!!! Once again, John's butcher had excelled himself with the hanging of the beef. Lovely to finally catch up with mother between hooning off round the world.... see you soon!
